    Aft torpedo room,
    looking in the direction of the bow side,
    the presence of the first torpedo could
    not be missed.
    Before sinking it was probably hanging
    on the steel rail attached to the ceiling

    These rails were later used to remove
    the torpedoes from their tubes.
