Removing the torpedoes from U-534 (page 11/11).

   Magnetic firing pistol Pi 2, removed from the warhead.

   The copper tube contains a magnetic coil that detected
   the target when running below the targets keel.
   Its about 90 cm in lenght.

   One of these pistols was stowed right in the entrance
   to the aft torpedo room.
